My First Car

1966 Chevrolet Chevelle SS 396 convertible

I can't believe I found this photo! Red on red with white top. Cool! Not the actual car, but amazing to find one exactly like it!

66 Chevelle SS 396 red convertible

My first car was a 66 Chevelle SS 396 convertible that I paid around $300 in 1971, just before my 16th birthday. I made the money working at my uncle's Texaco station on Kendall Drive in South Miami (by K-land and Baptist Hospital). The guy I bought it from was a customer and he would hang around the station, shootin the breeze (ahh.. the pre- facebook era!). Nick Sharpe's 1970 Mercury Montego MX Competition Orange with Keystone Kustomags

My current ride since 2001. 1970 Mercury Montego MX with 302 V8 and C4 auto trans, and original "competition orange" color just like it rolled out from the showroom floor. I added some period correct mods, like Keystone Kustomags, a CherryBomb, Sun tach and air shocks. Other mods include 550# springs in the rebuilt front for safety and lots more fun (ready for mulholland!)

1984 Toyota Longbed pickup

Looking for Toyota Pickup to Buy

Just like this one in the pics below, it must be long bed 4 cyl, bench seat, column shift, auto trans and cold AC with less than 150k mile in super clean, one owner condition (or as close as I can get). This is an '88, prefer a later model up to '92, looking to pay $2-3k. Lemme know if you see one of these! I was a day late and a buck short for this one lsted and sold for $2900.
